These gorgeous and practical brooms have been made using natural broomcorn hurl fibre (Sorghum) This hard working broom can be used on various surfaces around your home, carpets, floors gardens, workshops, offices, potting sheds, camper vans. The brooms are made using ancient methods still practised by besom/broom makers around the globe. Unlike spinning spindles used to spin wool, a brush-making foot spindle is a tensioning device controlled by your feet. It keeps the twine under extreme tension so you can tightly weave and wrap cord around the handle to build the brush/besom. I have used poly cord for the handle grip and finished with a leather hanging loop to store when not in use.
